Senior Software Engineer

Google | Boulder, CO

Hello and welcome!

I’m a software engineer who’s interested in building backends and infrastructure to serve and process data at scale. I’m currently at Google, where I lead a project to improve SQL-related regionalization tooling for offline batch processing. The project is part of a large cross-organizational effort to offer data sovereignty controls to Google Workspace customers.

I grew up in Fort Collins, CO and am an avid skier (backcountry and resort) when there’s snow and enjoy road rides when there’s not. When the weather isn’t suitable for either, I also enjoy playing chess and guitar.

After earning a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder, I attended the University of Waterloo, where I did computational biology research and earned my Masters of Mathematics in 2012. Since then, I’ve lived in Boston and the SF Bay Area before returning to Colorado to be closer to family and the mountains.
